WHO WE ARE

Centro do Mundo is a Capoeira group that was born in Ecuador with the support of the great Mestre Zé María (Rio De Janeiro Brazil). He is a pioneer of this art in our country and he is currently the root and leader of the group which is formed by a body of highly efficient and dedicated teachers with solid bases in this art and with a vast number of students who feel Capoeira as a lifestyle. All of them make this group the first Capoeira group born in Ecuador to have an international base.

MISSION

The mission of the International Capoeira Group "Centro do Mundo" is to generate a significant value in the society by promoting and disseminating this Brazilian art, thus making known part of the Brazilian Afro culture and enriching important aspects within a healthy and balanced life.

VISION

Centro do Mundo's vision is to maintain the permanence of the group, consolidating itself as a school of Capoeira art, and positioning itself in the minds of the people as a Capoeira born in Ecuador but with a strong Brazilian base and thus expand not only within the country, but beyond our borders, thus ensuring our steady and continuous growth.
